Disciplined Bulldogs coach Diskin fully focused on the next game
Batley snapped out of a three game losing streak when they defeated neighbours Dewsbury Rams 18-10 on Good Friday.
Today’s game at Sheffield Eagles (3pm) is an opportunity to build more form and confidence ahead of a daunting spell which will see Batley face high fliers Toronto Wolfpack, Toulouse Olympique and Featherstone Rovers in successive weeks.

“Two points against your local rivals is the main thing and we have done that, which is a step forward,” he said. “But I will just be happy to get through the Easter period and then we will worry about momentum.”
Eagles broke their duck in the Betfred Championship, at the seventh attempt, when they beat Rochdale Hornets 38-20 three days ago.
“Sheffield will be full of confidence and are going to be tough on their pitch, particularly the 4G pitch as they know how to play it,” Diskin said.

“We have given the lads a supplement recovery pack and the diet plan and protocols.
“We rotated one or two players on Friday with Monday in mind and that is the next one on the list and hopefully we can tick that off as well.
“I thought Dane Manning and Joel Farrell, in their first game back, both did really well. We managed their minutes and hopefully they will get some more game time on Monday.”
