But the Polish international, whose run is in the top 20 longest in club history, still has some way to go to catch some true Leeds United legends, including an all-star top 10.
1. Mateusz Klich joint 17th
The Pole has made a midfield berth his own under Marcelo Bielsa and stayed injury and suspension free. What makes it remarkable is that he runs close to 12km per game, wtih 1km of high intensity sprints
2. Mervyn Day 10th
The goalkeeper was signed by Eddie Gray in 1985 and stayed at the club for eight years. He made 98 consecutive appearances, a streak that ended on 10th December 1988.
3. Gary Kelly 9th
The Irish full-back became a first team regular under Howard Wilkinson in the 1993/94 season and made 99 consecutive appearances before his streak came to an end in December 1995.
4. Grenville Hair 8th
The magnificently named left-back, who was a one-club man and tragically died at the tender age of 36, made 104 consecutive appearances for Leeds in the mid 1950s
5. Jimmy Dunn joint fifth
Dunn (back row, fourth from left) also made 134 consecutive league starts for Leeds United, a run that ended in September 1957. John Charles called him 'one of the best full-backs I ever played with.'
6. Tom Townsley joint fifth
The defender, who switched from centre-half to right-back at Leeds United, made 134 consecutive league appearances in the late 1920s. He was a club captain and a Scotland international.
