The Whites haven’t signed any new players this month, despite being linked with a whole host – including Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar – but as yet, nothing has materialised.
In truth, that is unlikely to change either.
Marcelo Bielsa has claimed that he and his staff have failed to even contemplate bringing in any new players this month, and following his side's barnstorming win over Leicester City on Sunday, the Argentine is looking entirely vindicated in that decision.
But while Leeds seem unlikely to bring anybody in, there could still be plenty of time for them to wrap up an outgoing deal or two, with the most obvious candidate for an exit being 22-year-old forward Rafa Mujica.
The Spaniard has been on loan with Real Oviedo over the first half of the campaign, but has struggled for game time, and has been limited to a paltry five outings across all competitions.
To make matters worse, four of those appearances have come from the bench, and it’s understandable that both he and his parent club are looking to arrange an alternative move for him.
Las Palmas are leading the race by a country mile, and La Provinica report that he is expected to wrap up a move in the coming hours.
That will be far from the only deal that is completed in the Premier League today, however, and we’ve gathered up the most transfer that are most likely to happen between now and this evening’s 11pm deadline:
1. Moises Caicedo to Brighton
The Ecuadorian midfielder has been linked with a move to the south coast for some time now, but as yet a deal has not been wrapped up. This one was seemingly very close, and an announcement on deadline day would be no surprise. (Photo by JOSE JACOME/POOL/AFP via Getty Images) Photo: JOSE JACOME
2. Sergio Romero to Brighton
The Argentine goalkeeper has fallen way down the pecking order at Manchester United and looks destined to leave Old Trafford this month. Brighton have been touted as a potential destination, and those rumours have intensified since Mat Ryan's departure. (Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images) Photo: Michael Regan
3. Hamza Choudhury to Newcastle United
Newcastle are on the lookout for a new midfielder, and Choudhury's name has been linked all month. Whether Leicester City will be willing to let him go out on loan remains to be seen, however. (Photo by Octavio Passos/Getty Images) Photo: Octavio Passos
4. Jetro Willems to Newcastle United
Willems is said to be facing an exit from Eintracht Frankfurt, and has spoken fondly of his time in the north east last season. Could a return to St. James' Park be on the cards? The Toon Army are said to be in the market for a full-back. (Photo by Nigel Roddis/Getty Images) Photo: Nigel Roddis
5. Jonjoe Kenny to Celtic
Kenny emerged as a target for Burnley earlier this month, but it looks as if Celtic are in the driving seat to sign the Everton man. (Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Livesey
6. Nathan Collins to Burnley
Burnley have seen their advances for the Stoke City rebuffed so far, but with Sean Dyche keen to strengthen his squad, the Clarets boss could try his luck again with an improved approach. (Photo by Gareth Copley/Getty Images) Photo: Gareth Copley
