Villa were blitzed 3-0 by the Whites in October's clash at Villa Park as a Patrick Bamford hat-trick ended the home side's perfect start following four wins out of four.
Four months later, Villa ensured they left Elland Road with all three points as Anwar El Ghazi's fifth-minute strike proved the only goal of the game and Scotland international McGinn admitted the result in the reverse fixture against Leeds needed addressing.

“They came to Villa Park and put three past us so here we had to put it right.
“We got the goal early on and, what we showed was grit, determination and desire, and I’m sure everyone back at home, and everyone in the dressing room is delighted with a massive three points.”
