The Whites found themselves 2-0 down after just three minutes via a Scott McTominay brace and Bruno Fernandes also hit a double to go with strikes from Daniel James and Victor Lindelof.
Whites captain Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas netted for the Whites and Graham Smyth, the YEP's chief football writer, hands out the scores.
1. Illan Meslier
7 - Were it not for the young Frenchman, this would have been double figures. Might feel he could have done better with one or two of the goals but made numerous stops. Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images.
2. Stuart Dallas
6 - A tidy enough performance for the most part, scored a good goal and ran lots but found himself being bypassed as the hosts ran riot.

3. Liam Cooper
5 - Struggled with pace and trickery of a counter attacking side who got at an exposed defence repeatedly. Took his goal well. Tried to play on through injury.

4. Luke Ayling
5 - Given a torrid time by the quick touches and pace of the opposition attack. Important to note how isolated the defence was as the hosts countered.

5. Gjanni Alioski
5 - Tried to get forward but couldn't make much of an impact, didn't produce quality. Part of a defence that were torn apart on the counter.

6. Kalvin Phillips
4 - Hooked at the break. Couldn't give Leeds control, couldn't protect the back four. Overran in midfield.
