Leeds United's academy has been known for its high production of top class talent over the years - but a lot of those who have passed through the Elland Road doors have had to go on to fulfil their ambitions elsewhere. We take a look at some of those who have been and gone... and where they are now.
1. Aaron Lennon
Left Leeds in 2005. Spent 10 years with Tottenham before stints with Everton and Burnley. Is now a free agent.
2. Fabian Delph
Left Leeds in 2009 - before a brief return in 2012. Has had spells with Aston Villa and Manchester City. Joined Everton last summer. Still there.
3. Sam Byram
Another who made a big impression very quickly. Was a key figure at right-back but earned a move to the Premier League in 2016 with West Ham. Now plys his trade at Norwich City.
4. Lewis Cook
A shining light in dark times for Leeds. Handed his senior debut in 2014 before he left for Bournemouth and the Premier League two years later. Remains with the Cherries.
5. Alex Mowatt
Burst onto the scene in 2013. Mowatt made 123 appearances for the club scoring 13 goals before departing to Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley in 2017 where he remains.
6. Charlie Taylor
Was very highly thought of at Elland Road. Spent loans away with Bradford, York, Inverness and Fleetwood before making left-back his own. Another who went to the top flight with Burnley in 2017. Still there.
