History-making Patrick Bamford on why Leeds United will always have half a chance in Premier League games
and live on Freeview channel 276
Striker Bamford took his haul for the new Premier League season to three when netting an 88th-minute winner in Sunday's Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United as the Whites left Bramall Lane with a 1-0 success.
In doing so, Bamford etched himself into Leeds United history as the club's first ever player to score in their first three games in the top-flight at the start of a new campaign.

Bamford put in another tireless shift in the lone striker role against the Blades with the 27-year-old continually pressing the Blades back-line and the Whites no 9 said United's fitness and desire to put in the hard yards would always stand Marcelo Bielsa's Whites in good stead.
"We didn't expect it to be easy," said Bamford, speaking to BT Sport after the 1-0 success at Bramall Lane.
"We knew it would be hard work and I think you have always got a chance if you can match the other team in terms of effort and desire and sometimes that's worth more than quality.

After netting in both the opening weekend’s 4-3 loss at defending champions Liverpool and the following weekend’s 4-3 victory at home to Fulham, Bamford settled Sunday’s derby when heading home Jack Harrison’s precise cross with two minutes left after good work from record signing Rodrigo.
The victory put Leeds on to six points and sixth in the table ahead of Saturday evening’s clash against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Elland Road (kick-off 5.30pm).
