“He is hugely ambitious and feels that Guiseley is a club on the up where he can achieve his goals.”
Vidal, a former England Under-19’s and 20’s international, joins from Wrexham, with spells at Manchester City, Derby County, Aberdeen and Greek side Panetolikos also on his CV.
Bower commented: “Javan is someone we have tracked for a few years now and has real pedigree. The plan is for him to play in midfield where he can utilise his pace, ability on the ball and ball-winning qualities.”

Hide AdEast, 24, signs from National League play-off winners Grimsby Town having featured 25 times for the Mariners last season. The versatile right- back can count Northampton, Gillingham, Portsmouth and Aldershot among his former clubs.
“Danny was part of a promotion winning side last season and I feel he’s a real coup for us,” Lions boss Bower said of East’s arrival.
“He’s predominantly a right back and that’s where we see him playing, although he can operate in several positions further up the pitch”.
