Video - Florist told to stop playing Christmas Carols or face court
Dad Allan Poole, 52, has manned the stand in Birmingham for almost 40 years and raises money for a local children’s hospital with his Yuletide display.
The florist has broadcast traditional Christmas songs for the last ten years but was stunned when he received a letter from Birmingham City Council on Wednesday (2/12).

Hide AdIncredibly, Scrooge bosses in the authority’s environmental department said he was in breach of the Control of Pollution Act 1974.
The council have accused Allan of advertising his business through the sound system and threatened him with court if he doesn’t turn off the festive tunes.
