A taxi driver was slapped with a fine for parking on double yellow lines to help a disabled pensioner out of his car.
The cabbie momentarily stopped so that his elderly passenger who uses a walker to help her stand, could disembark. But the eager warden issued the ticket within a minute of the vehicle stopping. A video of the angry exchange between the driver, warden and the customer has gone viral, being viewed more than 135,000 times online. Dan Robinson who owns The Chauffeur Company based in Chelmsford, Essex, shared footage of the council traffic warden putting the fine on his employee’s windscreen outside a Marks and Spencer store in the city on Tuesday.
