Stoke have considerable injury problems to contend with as they prepare for Saturday’s home Barclays Premier League clash against Swansea.
Since beating Watford in their last outing on March 19, the Potters have seen Jack Butland (ankle) and Jonathan Walters (knee) ruled out for the rest of the season and a minimum of three weeks respectively.
Ryan Shawcross (back), Marc Wilson and Glen Johnson (both knee) all remain unavailable, Xherdan Shaqiri (thigh) is unlikely to feature and there will be late fitness tests on Glenn Whelan and Geoff Cameron. Erik Pieters is fit to return after his calf problem, and Jakob Haugaard is expected to replace Butland in goal.
Provisional squad: Haugaard, Given, Wollscheid, Cameron, Teixeira, Muniesa, Pieters, Bardsley, Imbula, Whelan, Adam, Ireland, Afellay, Arnautovic, Bojan, Joselu, Crouch, Diouf.
