Residents in running for Leeds town's top garden awards
Entries for the Morley in Bloom Flower Garden Competition, where people are invited to arrange their garden ahead of an awards ceremony, closed yesterday.
But organisers have revealed they are “delighted” with the turnout, after more than 30 residents took part.

Hide AdCoun Judith Elliott said: “We are very pleased with how popular the competition has been.
“We are delighted with the entries.”
It will be judged next week by Beatrice Myers and Mick Waring, from Leeds City Council’s parks department.
And a special awards ceremony will be hosted at Morley Town Hall for the lucky participants.
It will feature the ceremony and a lunch, in the Mayor’s Parlour at the town hall.
