Police investigating 'possible shotgun discharge' at boarded-up Leeds house
Police are investigating whether damage to the door of the empty property on Bexley Terrace was caused by a shotgun being fired at it.
West Yorkshire Police said:
"At about 8.30am today police attended at an address in Bexley Terrace which had previously been boarded up due to links to drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

Hide Ad"Officers found damage to the door which suggested a possible shotgun discharge. No-one was present at address.
"A scene has been put in place to undergo forensic examination."
Harehills has experienced a spate of violence in recent weeks, including shootings and street brawls, some of which are being treated as linked.
In early July, seven men were arrested after a fight outside a grocery store.

Hide AdA house in Ashton Avenue was targeted in June, when shots were fired at the property when it was empty, and a 17-year-old girl received minor injuries when shots were fired through the window of a house on nearby Ashton Street in what is thought to be a linked attack. The Ashton Avenue house was again targeted a few weeks later, when arsonists set fire to a sofa outside the property.
In a separate incident, a 17-year-old boy was shot on Pasture Road on July 16.
