Yorkshire Bank update customers who are still experiencing delays receiving funds
and live on Freeview channel 276
Wages, disability benefits and HMRC payments are among funds which have not been paid into Yorkshire Bank accounts this morning.
Many customers claim to have been told it is the fault of their employers, however when contacted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, the bank confirmed they are investigating reports of payments not being made 'as a priority'.

Hide AdYorkshire residents took to social media in anger at the situation - with many unsure how they will cope without vital funds they were expecting today.
Virgin Money PLC, who own Yorkshire Bank, provided the Yorkshire Evening Post with a further update this afternoon. (Jan 3)
A spokesperson said: “We are aware some customers experienced a delay today with Bacs transactions reaching their accounts.
"This was caused by the processing date for a Bacs file being incorrect, which delayed transactions showing in customers’ accounts.

Hide Ad"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to those customers affected.
"We are now working to get account balances updated overnight so that correct funds are available from early tomorrow morning.
"We can assure customers that they will not be negatively impacted financially as a result of this.
"Anybody with any ongoing concerns should contact the bank through the usual channels.”
