A six-foot prop chicken - named Lucy - is also joining them as the campaign mascot.
The Animal Justice Project says it has exposed "higher welfare, free range chicken farming and slaughter" and claims that "conditions are often no better than those on intensive farms".
The Leeds billboard is one of twenty two digital billboards being erected across major cities - including others in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield.
The Animal Justice Project is hoping to reach 1.45 million people altogether, with 303,451 of those in Leeds.
