Bramley Baths to host intense summer lifeguard courses for over 16s
and live on Freeview channel 276
The swimming baths is running courses in the summer holidays - one from Monday July 26 and one from Monday August 30.
The courses will focus on water based rescue and first aid knowledge, the centre said.

Hide AdOnce qualified, applicants would then be able to work at any leisure facility across Leeds and nationally.
The centre is also offering the chance to get the course at a discounted rate if you offer to volunteer to work at the baths for a minimum of 20 hours after successful completion of the course.
Bramley Baths posted: "Ever thought about being a lifeguard?
"We are running two courses in the summer holidays one from Monday 26th of July - Friday 30th of July and the other Monday 30th August - Saturday 4th September.

Hide Ad"This is a weeks intense course, that focuses on how to perform a water based rescue and provides in depth first aid knowledge which are essential life skills.
"Once qualified you can work at any leisure facility in the country.
"The full course is £250 or you could pay just £50 and then volunteer to work here at the Baths."
Applicants must be 16 years of age or above.
Spaces are limited, Bramley Baths said.
