Passenger, 21, denies '˜endangering an aircraft' after flight from Leeds Bradford Airport diverted
The Jet2.com plane, which was due to fly to Larnaca in Cyprus, was diverted by crew shortly after take off and landed at Manchester Airport yesterday.
Joshua Anthony Strickland, of Lucas Avenue, York, was arrested at the airport by armed officers from Greater Manchester Police.

Hide AdMr Strickland, 21, appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court today and pleaded not guilty to the charge of recklessly or negligently acting in a manner likely to endanger an aircraft or someone on the aircraft.
The diversion of the flight, which departed from Leeds Bradford at 9.45am, led to lengthy knock-on delays of around six hours for holidaymakers due to fly back from Larnaca to Leeds yesterday.
The case has been adjourned until Thursday, July 28, for a trial date to be set.
