The custodians of Leeds United investing in the next generation has got to be a positive sign - YEP opinion
This is the shortest and most important of pre-seasons for Leeds United.
It represents the start of a new era in our club’s proud history, complete with all the riches that the Premier League can provide.

Marcelo has always made it clear that he only wants players to be bought that he believes will improve on what he already has within his championship-winning squad.
But whoever starts in that highly anticipated first fixture away to Liverpool, you can be sure they’ll look amazing in the slick new kit!
What is also really encouraging is that the club have already secured the services of some promising youngsters. Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Allen, Cody Drameh and Dani van den Heuvel are welcome additions.

The Trust’s day to day work continues and we recently gave fans the opportunity to win a limited edition Don Revie print, drawn by Paul Trevillion, by donating a minimum of £2.50 towards our charity of the year, Andy’s Man Club.
We raised a total of £260 for the charity and we would like to offer our congratulations to the winner, Daniel Hollis, who can now place it with pride on his wall.
The Trust continues to hold regular one-to-one discussions with the club on all matters that are important to our members and to the wider fanbase. For those fans who were season ticket holders for the 2019-20 season, we know that the club had provided a number of options as a rebate because the last few matches at Elland Road were played behind closed doors.

We have recently been contacted by some of our members in relation to these options, asking us when they can expect to receive them from the club.
The Trust took this up directly with Angus Kinnear and he was able to confirm to the Trust, for the first time, that the retail gift cards have started to be issued to fans from Thursday, August 20 and the ticket refunds will be issued during the first week of September.
The Trust will also make sure to keep in touch with the club during its preparations for the new season.
