Leeds firms raise vital cash at MacMillan coffee mornings
The city’s branch of Marks and Spencerraised over £3,500 for the charity during its event recently.
The store took part in a fancy dress to raise vital funds for the month-long fundraising campaign for Macmillan’s flagship World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Hide AdShoppers were out in force to support the cause, joining millions of people across the UK who also participated in coffee mornings for Macmillan.
As well as serving huge amounts of coffee and cake, employees also dressed up in ‘Hollywood’ and ‘999 what’s your emergency’ themed fancy dress.
Tim Dodd, Store Manager at M&S Leeds, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our shoppers for helping us to raise such a phenomenal amount for such a worthy cause.
“We very much appreciate everyone’s efforts and especially staff throughout the store who have been working hard behind the scenes over the last few weeks to help make this year’s coffee morning extra special.”

Hide Ad* Award-winning Leeds-based public relations agency Grayling North also took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Joining hundreds of people across the country, team members at Grayling North prepared a host of baked treats ranging from decorated vanilla cupcakes to a Great British Bake Off inspired orange, honey and polenta cake.
