Data from the 123-reg firm shows that 52 per cent of all the city’s businesses with a website have a mobile-friendly version.
That figure compares favourably with the national average of 43 per cent.

Hide AdResearch commissioned by 123-reg and undertaken by YouGov also shows that those businesses with a website are 14 per cent more likely to have grown significantly in the last two years.
And with web traffic increasingly mobile-driven, it is claimed that websites can improve performance still further when they come complete with a mobile-friendly version.
Nick Leech, digital director at 123-reg, said: “We are confident that Leeds’s entrepreneurial spirit will continue to flourish.”
