West Yorkshire: Man held over death of woman, 79
Lincolnshire Police were called at around 2pm on Sunday by hospital staff who had concerns for the local woman who had been taken to hospital from her home address in Merleswen, Dunholme, at around 11am that morning.
The woman later died in hospital at around 10am on September 24. Officers carried out initial enquiries and a murder investigation was launched yesterday.

Hide AdLast night a 51-year-old man was arrested in the West Yorkshire area. He is currently helping police with their enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin Holvey said: “I can confirm that a murder investigation has been launched and I would urge anyone with any information that they think might help us to get in touch as soon as possible.
“We are not seeking any other suspects in relation to this investigation and there is no threat to the community. I would urge any local residents with any concerns to discuss them with our local officers in the village.”
