Two men arrested after attack in south Leeds street

Police were called just before 6pm to Ingleton Street, where a 20-year-old man had been assaulted.
Officers arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Hide AdThe victim was taken to hospital before being arrested on suspicion of affray in relation to the incident.
Both men are still in police custody.
A police cordon was put in place so that officers could examine the area yesterday evening.
It was lifted at about 11pm.
Detectives from Leeds District CID are continuing to investigate the attack today.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 5.57pm yesterday (25/1) police were called to an incident in Ingleton Street, Beeston, where a 20-year-old man had been assaulted.
