A 15-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a motorist in Gipton.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened in St Wilfrid’s Avenue yesterday (Wednesday) just before 10pm.
The boy was hit by the driver of a Seat Leon at the junction of Easterly Mount and St Wilfrid's Avenue, before being taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.

Hide AdAnyone who saw the incident or the car immediately beforehand is asked to call PC 6042 Gibson on 101.
Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who has dash-cam footage to get in touch.
