Police launch urgent search for suspect after shopkeeper pepper sprayed during violent robbery

Shortly before 2pm on August 21, 2020, a man entered the Londis convenience store on Woodhouse Street, Woodhouse, and put packets of steak and jars of coffee in his jacket before leaving the shop.
When challenged outside by the owner and two members of staff, he sprayed them with a canister of pepper spray before running off, police said.

Hide AdOfficers had been pursuing specific lines of enquiry in relation to the incident, which occurred in August last year, but those enquiries have now concluded without identifying the suspect.
