Police cordon off Harehills property as crime scene investigators search building

Officers are searching a property on Cowper Mount, off Harehills Lane, as part of an enquiry into a missing person.
Sebastian Wray, 32, who lives on the street, said: "There were lots of police wearing face masks going into the house and taking pictures. The crime scene investigators are there now.

Hide Ad"There were police outside the house at about 9.30pm last night. When I woke up this morning they had gone but they have just come back (around 2pm) and have put up police tape."
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the search is part of an enquiry into a missing person.
A spokeswoman said: "The Cowper Mount police presence is part of ongoing searches in connection with a missing person’s enquiry."
On Friday afternoon, a police tent was put in place on Back Sandhurst Road, off Harehills Lane, while officers in white suits conducted a search in connection with a missing person's enquiry.
Police have not confirmed whether the searches are connected.
