New trial date set for man accused of cash in transit robbery at McColl's store in Horsforth

Daniel Rozycki was due to go on trial yesterday (July 12) over the incident at the McColl's store, on Broadgate Lane, Horsforth, on January 17 this year.
The case could not go ahead as jury trials were put on hold at Leeds Crown Court in March due to the coronavirus pandemic

Hide AdRozycki, 29, appeared in court via a video link from HMP Armley for a brief hearing to fix a new trial date.
The defendant's trial was re-scheduled for December 14 this year.
Rozycki of Osmondthorpe Lane, Osmondthorpe, is also charged with arson in relation to a fire involving a Nissan Qashqai in Regent Court, Horsforth, which occurred the same day.
He also denies burglary and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
Rozycki was told he will remain in custody until his trial.
