Man arrested on suspicion of drug driving after pedestrian hit by car on Hanover Lane in Leeds city centre
and live on Freeview channel 276
It happened at 11.58am on Sunday in Hanover Lane, near Park Lane.
Police cordoned off a large area and closed several roads nearby after a man, in his fifties, was hit by a red Volkswagen Passat.

Hide AdHe was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the Passat, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and was later released under investigation.
Police seized the car for further tests.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing and officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash, or the movements of the Volkswagen Passat or the pedestrian prior to it.
