Hide AdOfficers in an unmarked police car signalled for Naz to stop as he drove through the Stanningley area of city at 3.45am.
Naz sped off and drove at double the speed limit on some roads.
He braked suddenly on The Fairway, Pudsey, causing the police car to crash into the back of him.
Naz was wearing surgical gloves when he was arrested from the vehicle and was carrying a passenger.
Number plates from a different vehicle were inside the car.

Hide AdNaz, of Roundhay Road, Leeds, refused to comment in interview.
He pleaded guilty to receiving stolen goods, dangerous driving and having no licence or insurance.
The court heard Naz has previous convictions and was out of prison on licence at the time of the incident.
Naz later told a police officer that he had braked suddenly because he had spotted a fox in the road.

Hide AdJeremy Barton, mitigating, said Naz was out or work and short of money and had agreed to drive the car to Bradford for £50.
Mr Barton said Naz did not know the vehicle was stolen but accepted that he knew what he was being asked to do "was dodgy".
Jailing Naz, Recorder Taryn Turner said: "I am satisfied that you were wearing those surgical glove to hide telltale finger prints.
"You are racking up a not inconsiderable career for yourself and you were on licence at the time for rather different offences."
