Halton police incident: Man arrested after suffering knife wound during street fight

Officers were called to Appleby Place in Halton Moor at 8.20am yesterday (Sunday) to reports of two men fighting in the street.
Police then found a 35-year-old man at a nearby house with injuries, including a knife wound to his hand.

Hide AdHe was arrested on suspicion of affray and received treatment at hospital.
He is still in police custody.
A large police cordon was in place for much of yesterday around Halton Moor Avenue, Appleby Place and Cartmell Drive.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 8.20am yesterday (31/1) police were called to a report of two men fighting in the street in Appleby Place, Halton Moor.
"Officers attended and found a 35-year-old man at a nearby address with injuries, including a knife wound to his hand.
"A scene was put in place to undergo forensic examination.
