Distinctive guitar taken in Crossgates burglary
It was stolen from a house in Park Avenue, Crossgates, along with a number of other items, on Saturday January 30 at around 2.35pm.
The home owner, a 57-year-old woman owner, returned home and challenged the man who then escaped over a neighbour’s fence.

Also taken was a red Gibson 335 electric guitar, a Fishman Proaura guitar pedal, an iPad 2 and a Toshiba laptop.
PC Rob Kennerley, of Leeds District Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: “The missing letters make the Fender guitar very distinctive and I would like to hear from anyone who has been offered that guitar or any of the other items for sale since January 30.
“The e-fit image is also very detailed and we would like to hear from anyone who thinks they recognise the man involved.”
