Devastation as callous thieves steal 15,000 LEGO sets from Fairy Bricks children's charity

Fairy Bricks donate LEGO sets to children’s hospices and hospitals, brightening the lives of sick children in hospital.
The charity recently donated over 25,000 sets to NHS Staff and have reached 50,000 children in UK hospitals in the past 12 months.

Hide AdHowever, 'chief fairy' Kev Gascoigne told the Yorkshire Evening Post that staff arrived on Monday morning to a scene of utter devastation.
Thieves are believed to have taken more than 15,000 sets of LEGO from the Huddersfield based warehouse - with a value of more than £400,000.
Kev said that the charity's van was also taken in the raid - however this has since been recovered by police.
In a tweet, Fairy Bricks said: "We are saddened to report that we have suffered a devastating robbery at Fairy HQ over the weekend.

Hide Ad"We still have to assess the full extent of the stock taken.
"Our van has also been stolen.
"@WestYorksPolice are fully aware and are working to apprehend the criminals."
West Yorkshire Police have now launched an appeal for further information.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "The suspects gained entry to the building and took a large number of Lego sets from inside, before loading them into a vehicle and making off.

Hide Ad"The suspects then returned a short time later, taking more Lego sets. They also took a van belonging to the business, which has since been recovered."
