Cannabis farm producing 'confectionery' raided by police as urgent warning issued to parents

After a tip off from the public, officers from North West NPT - with the assistance of specialist operations units - executed a search warrant in the Ossett area of West Yorkshire on Friday night.
Officers discovered a small cannabis farm inside.
A 'highly efficient' set up was being used to produce cannabis infused confectionery, police said.

Hide AdPolice issued a warning to parents and said the type of confectionery is often marketed to 'children and young adults'.
Officers arrested two people and an investigation is ongoing, police confirmed.
West Yorkshire Police said: "As a result of intelligence provided by the local community, North West NPT with the assistance of specialist operations units, executed a search warrant at an address in the Ossett area yesterday evening.
"Located inside was a small cannabis grow and what appears to be a highly efficient set up, producing cannabis infused confectionary.
