Cakes, clothes and haircuts for the homeless at Leeds charity
Donations of clothing and footwear were taken to St George’s Crypt for those using the charity’s emergency accommodation.
A supply of cakes were shared out too, thanks to donations by Greggs bakery, York Cocoa House and independent Morley-based cake makers Board To Tiers.

Media sales agent Adele Little was one of the YEP staff who volunteered to help out following on from the team’s support for a Christmas meal put on by the charity.
Ms Little said: “We just wanted to follow up with something after our Christmas meal so thought we could do a ‘Spring clean’ with haircuts and new clothes and shoes. It was a great day.”
The award-winning St George’s Crypt is located off Great George Street in the heart of the city centre. It provides emergency accommodation to almost 2,000 people every year - some of whom have been evicted from their homes and others who have spent years living on the streets - plus three meals a day, showers and clothing.
