Apple fans flock to historic Leeds house for harvest
Little Alexa McLoughlin was one of several visitors at the Edwardian house and gardens as it celebrated the start of this year’s apple harvest with apple juice and cider tasting, an ‘apple and spoon race’ and garden games on Sunday, September 13.
Young visitors also had the chance to make fruit and vegetable sculptures and mini scarecrows.

Hide AdThe estate grounds were also open, offering the chance to walk into the heart of the deer park.
Councillor Brian Selby, Leeds City Council’s lead member for museums and galleries, said: “This is one of Lotherton Hall’s many long-standing traditions.”
