They’re making them fancy over at North Star where you can tuck in for breakfast or tea.
Go for a savoury rye and buckwheat crepe with potatoes, ricotta, capers and a fried egg or opt for the classic with lemon juice, sugar and vanilla creme fraiche ice cream. There is also a decadent hot chocolate and caramel version.

Hide AdYou can build your own at the Hyde Park Book Club with veggie versions of bacon and sausage and you can satisfy the sweet tooth with chocolate chips, Oreo, ice cream, glitter, cherry compote and syrups.
And the yearly pancake bar at Angelica is also making a return, so start your day the right way overlooking the city rooftops with Banana, praline, Nutella, Baileys cream and rum ’n’ raisin ice cream, cinnamon and chocolate.
Belgrave is doing a pancake feast for the vegans with a special coconut ice cream and Bundobust is doing a special one-off ‘Sweet Sweet Dosa’ on the menu, with mango, pistachio, cardamom and mascarpone cream.
