To make life easier for those braving the mad dash around Leeds, here are 10 of the best shopping centres and districts for those last minute Christmas buys.
1. Corn Exchange
Full of quirky independent shops, the Corn Exchange on Call Lane is the perfect place to find something a bit different. Get away from the city centre crowds and enjoy the stunning Christmas tree, or some food to keep you going. Photo: Catherine Ruane
2. White Rose
The trusty White Rose needs no introduction, and is the perfect place to park up and get everything you need in one place. Just expect big crowds over the Christmas period.
3. Victoria Quarter
Restored from Victorian shopping arcades in 1990, Victoria Quarter is now fully decked-out for Christmas. It's full of big brand names and independent boutiques - but with its prime city centre location, expect big crowds.
4. German Christmas Market
There are plenty of quirky gifts available from Leeds German Market on Millennium Square - but hurry, the market closes tomorrow. Visit the wooden chalets until 9.30pm tonight (Saturday).
5. Crown Point Shopping Centre
Crown Point is to the south of the city centre and has a large Argos, toy shop and Asda. Head there for gifts for the kids.
6. Trinity Leeds
And finally, how could we forget Trinity Leeds? Yes, it may be busy over Christmas, but with a huge tree, 'festive selfie spots' and a huge range of high-street brands, it's a Christmas must-visit.
