Horsforth Brewery to open new shop and tap room on high street
and live on Freeview channel 276
Mark Costello founded Horsforth Brewery five years ago.
His microbrewery is currently based in a unit close to Horsforth Train Station.
Now he is to move his operation to the A65 New Road Side into what was Ishy's Bar Lounge Grill.

Hide AdIn a Facebook update, Mr Costello said the move would lead to him "massively increasing capacity."
He added: "Having twice the square footage of our current place, on one level no less, we will finally be able to move the bigger kit that’s still in storage here and ramp up production.
He continued: "I couldn’t be happier with the location. We will have a shop (which I’ll hopefully be able to keep decent opening times for) and event space so once we get settled in and brewing we’ll be working towards getting it Covid-safe, restarting tap days and eventually a wide range of community-led events.
"I first viewed the property in March so it’s taken us a long time to get to this stage but I’m sure it’s going to be worth it."

Hide AdMr Costello, a treasury dealer with Yorkshire Building Society for 12-and-a-half-years, took the decision to go full-time with the brewery at the start of this year, just before lockdown.
The brewery has achieved some notable success and is stocked in dozens of pubs and off-licences.
