The secret Leeds waterfall which even residents living nearby struggle to find - and how to get there

Derrydiddle Mill closed down more than 100 years ago, and the site doesn't even appear on the various lists of Yorkshire mills online.
Its location remains a mystery to many people, with one person on Facebook group Otley - Our Town comparing to "a myth somewhat akin to unicorns, fairies and eskimos."

Hide AdHe added: "I've lived here 58 years and still it eludes me, where is it for goodness sake?"
Another said: "Lived in Otley from schooldays, 73 years still not seen this waterfall, now in my eighties doubt if I will."
A third confused resident added: "Lived in area for 40 years and still haven't found it!"
While another said: "Moved to Otley before lockdown. Still yet to find the waterfall. Had two wrong directed route attempts. Very hidden away."

To find it, you need to start on Bradford Road at Westbourne Spice.
Just across the road, there is a dirt track just over the road - head on to it and take a right.
Hollie said: "It’s off the old railway line just - before you get to the end going towards Ellar Ghyll.
