Official Government figures show that since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Leeds has been falling. It's now down to 167.4. But infection rates vary across Leeds' Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs), a geographic measure of about 8,000 people. Here we reveal the 17 Leeds areas which have seen case rates double in the seven days to February 18, compared to the previous seven days to February 11. 1. Wetherby East & Thorp Arch
Due to a Covid outbreak at HMP Wealstun, Wetherby East and Thorp Arch recorded 82 new cases, that’s a rate of 1,166.6. It’s up 485.7% from the previous week.
2. Roundhay West

3. Cross Gates West & Killingbeck
Cross Gates West & Killingbeck recorded 19 new cases, that’s a rate of 299.4. It’s up 216.7% from the previous week.
4. Churwell
Churwell recorded 12 new cases, that’s a rate of 196.0. It’s up 200% from the previous week.
5. Farsley South, Stanningley & Pudsey North West
Farsley South, Stanningley & Pudsey North West recorded 22 new cases, that’s a rate of 296.8. It’s up 175% from the previous week.
6. Methley
