Data complied by the Office for National Statistics shows the number and percentage of deaths caused by Covid-19 and registered between March 2020 and February 2021.
These are the 16 Leeds area that saw the highest percentage of deaths related to Covid-19.
1. Roundhay Park & Slaid Hill
A total of 38 per cent of all deaths in the area of Roundhay Park & Slaid Hill were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 68 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 26 deaths were related to Covid-19.
2. Harehills South
A total of 37 per cent of all deaths in the area of Harehills South were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 51 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 19 deaths were related to Covid-19.
3. Hyde Park Corner & Woodhouse
A total of 37 per cent of all deaths in the area of Hyde Park Corner & Woodhouse Cliff were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 78 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 29 deaths were related to Covid-19.
4. Colton, Austhorpe & Whitkirk

5. Meanwood South & Sugarwell
A total of 32 per cent of all deaths in the area of Meanwood South & Sugarwell were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 73 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 23 deaths were related to Covid-19.
6. Harehills North
A total of 29 per cent of all deaths in the area of Harehills North were related to Covid-19 between March 2020 and February 2021. The area saw 41 deaths from all causes registered in that time period, of these deaths, 12 deaths were related to Covid-19.
