The supermarket giant will work with food banks, schools and community groups, including those in Leeds, to distribute the chocolate treats to those who need it the most.
Each of Morrisons' 497 stores will receive a delivery of more than 200 Easter eggs, including the popular Smarties and Creme Egg boxes, which will be donated over the holidays.

Morrisons' customer and community director, Rebecca Singleton, said the supermarket wants to spread joy across local communities as lockdown restrictions are set to be eased at the end of this week.
The giveaway is part of a £5m drive to stock food banks across the UK, which has seen the supermarket manufacture extra products which are donated directly to local communities.
Ms Singleton said: "We know that celebratory occasions can come at an additional cost to families, but we want to make sure that no-one goes without Easter eggs this year.
