Classic Ibiza with Ministry of Sound delights Leeds audience
The event, with Ministry of Sound, thrilled a sell-out audience of 7,500 with a blend of Balearic beats, performed by the Urban Soul Orchestra, DJ Goldierocks and a host of vocalists.
The concert took the audience on a rollercoaster ride of some of dance music’s best-known tracks.

The concert organisers said they were struck by how many family groups attended the event.
DJ Goldierocks then turned things up, getting the crowd into the mood before the orchestra and vocalists returned to the stage to perform some dance-floor fillers, accompanied by a laser show.
Lisa Ward, director of Revival Productions, organisers of Classic Ibiza, said: “What an incredible evening, we were so lucky that the weather cleared just as the orchestra hit the stage. What I really like about Classic Ibiza is that it caters for all the family. When I looked out at all the smiling faces in the crowd you could see that everyone, whether they were six or sixty, was having a fantastic time. Thank you Harewood, we hope to see you again next year.”
Stephen Hussey, conductor and founder of the Urban Soul Orchestra, added: “Wow.What a way to mark our first ever performance at Harewood House. Going by the reaction of the crowd, we’ve really hit the spot with this year’s set-list, but we will definitely want to freshen things up to make next year’s concert even better. We’ve got a few ideas that we are knocking around already, so watch this space.”
