Leeds is a city of cocktail lovers – there’s no denying that.

So luckily for us, 39 bars are teaming up to bring us another jam-packed Leeds Loves Cocktails festival.

In case you’ve not heard of it (where have you been?!) the festival is now in its third year and will be back with a bang from Monday, June 1 to Sunday, June 7.

This year there will be double the amount of venues taking part, so we’ll be getting much more for our money.

For just £5, cocktail fans can get a wristband that allows them exclusive access to events, tasting sessions, cocktail-conjuring masterclasses, discounted cocktails and parties across the city at participating bars for the whole week of the festival.

Nick Fox, founder of Leeds Loves Cocktails, said: “We’re looking forward to our third year of Leeds Loves Cocktails with double the venues involved and major drinks brands supporting us.

“It’s going to be a great week of fantastic drinks from the best bars and bartenders in Leeds.”

Big names like Mojo, Bar Soba and The Pit will be representing the Northern Quarter, along with more central venues like Epernay, Cielo Blanco and Meat Liquor as well as Call Lane favourites Normans, Neon Cactus and Oporto.

The underlying idea is that we need to be ‘drinking better, not more’, which is a lesson most of us will have learned the hard way.
