Rick Poppa Roundhay Park or New Dock.

James Speed Bennett Nufc Fulneck in Pudsey.

Nathan Medley. I like that park on Merrion Street, at the back of the St John’s Centre. It is very serene and ideal to relax after 1pm when the crowds have dispersed, with a late lunch.

Hazel Wyllie. Temple Newsam.

Paul Long. Visit incrediblekirkstall on facebook and join one of our free communal walks in Leeds to find some great spots. All welcome to join us.

The #leedsrecommends community has also been making suggestion their favourite fillings as part of British Sandwich Week which finishes on Friday. Responses via facebook include:

Paul Wright. Bacon and Mexican cheese.

Leeds United Derry & North West. Chicken and Cheese. A simple classic

Steven Batty. Sausage, with Fried onions in Marmite.

The #leedsrecommends community also continues to make recommendations for the best live music venues in the city.

Danny Morris. The Brudenell, obviously, simply for the ridiculous amount of great bands they have put on every week without fail.

Gary Potter. I agree Brudenell Social Club is a great place and hosted some great bands!
