A TEAM of dedicated fundraisers have reached the finish line after a gruelling two-day bike ride from Liverpool to Leeds.

The ‘Uncle Mick’s Bike Ride Challenge’ was set up by Leeds man Mick Mason to help raise money for Martin House Hospice in Boston Spa, where his nephew Alex often visits.

Mick and the team of 33 fundraisers cycled 127 miles for the children’s hospice.

They finally crossed the finish line at Granary Wharf last week – and the total amount raised stands at around £7,000.
