THE sky was the limit for two University of Leeds students as they bagged free tickets to Copenhagen as part of a charity hitch-hiking event.

Harriet Trayling and Joanna Mawdsley were donated the plane tickets by Leeds Bradford Airport for the ‘jailbreak’ escape, which saw students try to travel as far away as possible in 36 hours without spending any money on travel.

Students raised more than £16,000 for various charities from the fundraiser, with Megan Williams and Robbie Hollis getting all the way to Orlando, Florida.

Website GoEuro also donated £500 to the cause.
