Host a BBQ in Leeds and cook up charity cash

Have your say

MEN and women across Leeds are being urged to become barbecue heroes by pulling on their aprons, bringing out the burgers and cooking up some cash for Cancer Research UK.

The ‘BBQ for Cancer Research UK’ campaign calls on supporters to host a barbecue in July, or join in the ‘Big BBQ Bonanza’ on July 19 and 20.

Nicki Embleton, from Cancer Research UK spokeswoman for Yorkshire, said: “We know Yorkshire folk will be getting out their BBQs come rain or shine, so it’s the perfect opportunity to join forces.”
