Flower power: Launch of annual daffodil appeal

Have your say

A charity is asking supporters to go daffy about daffodils with the launch of its annual campaign today.

Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal calling for people to make a donation and wear a daffodil pin to support people with terminal illnesses.

The Great Daffodil Appeal runs throughout March and is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraiser. All the funds raised from the appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.

Katie Grinter, Community Fundraiser said: “We need everyone in West Yorkshire to get behind the appeal by donating and wearing one of our daffodil pins during March.”
