Former Leeds United star Danny Mills is no stranger to a tough challenge.
But the ex-defender turned commentator is set to tackle his most imposing opponent yet for charity.
Mills will be taking part in the 70.3-mile Ironman challenge to raise funds for the Gordon Ramsay Foundation charities and Shine, the spina bifida and hydrocephalus charity.
The triathlon, in Staffordshire in June, involves a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run.
He said: “The sheer distance involved in an Ironman requires physical and mental resilience that only great causes can sustain you through.”
