A rugby team put on a shocking display for charity – by donning bright pink kits for a grudge match.

Batley Bulldogs changed from their official colours of cerise and fawn to support breast cancer charities today (Sunday).

The team, who were playing Dewsbury Rams at their Mount Pleasant ground, planned to sell the one-off kit after the derby match. They also encouraged fans from both teams to come dressed in pink and sold a number of limited edition pink t-shirts to commemorate the day.
